Patient Experience Strategy

Patient Experience Strategy at WUTH

At Wirral University Teaching Hospital (WUTH), we are committed to delivering exceptional patient experiences. Our Patient Experience Strategy, launched in 2021 and running through 2026, aims to continuously improve the quality of care and services we provide by actively seeking feedback from our diverse community of patients, caregivers, volunteers, and staff. Click here to find out more about how the strategy started.

The Strategy's Driving Force

Recognising that every individual's journey through our healthcare system is unique, we believe in fostering an environment where all voices are heard and valued. By engaging with patients, potential patients, carers, volunteers, voluntary and faith sectors, and our dedicated staff members, we can better understand their needs, concerns, and perspectives. This collaborative approach empowers us to identify areas for enhancement and implement meaningful changes that truly make a difference. There are 5 promise groups that all review feedback.

Promoting Awareness

We actively promote the Patient Experience Strategy and its related initiatives through various channels, including social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Threads, TikTok, and YouTube), newsletters, our website, and community stands. However, we are continuously seeking new and innovative ways to raise awareness and engage with our audiences.

Looking Ahead

The Patient Experience Strategy is an ongoing commitment to prioritising the needs and well-being of our patients. As we move forward, we will continue to collaborate with our stakeholders, implement innovative solutions, and remain dedicated to providing exceptional care and services that exceed expectations.
