It offers 50 miles of rural walking routes, cucle areas and beaches. The Wirral Peninsula is bordered by two of Britain's most famous rivers, the Mersey and the Dee, running along its Eastern and Wester coastline.

The busy cities of Liverpool, Chester and Manchester are within easy reach of the Wirral with excellent transport links. North Wales is also a close neighbour with its historic castles, beaches and the famous Mount Snowdon which is located in the breathtaking Snowdonia National Park. A range of national parks including the Peak District and Lake District are also easily accessible.
There are brilliant transport links to Liverpool John Lennon Airport and Manchester Airport offering both budget and long-haul flights.
