How to Access the Service

The Children's School Age team offer physiotherapy advice and intervention to child who:

1. Live and have a registered GP in the Wirral Area
2. Are between the ages of 4-16
3. Meet the referral criteria (Copy of this available at bottom of page)

Referrals are usually made by health professionals, schools, or GPs. If you are a parent or caregiver and feel your child requires Physiotherapy input, please speak to your child’s school, G.P or healthcare provider and request a referral is made.

For Education and Healthcare professionals, making a referral is a 2 step process

1. Please check the service user meets the referral criteria (Copy of this available at bottom of page)
2. Complete the referral (Copy of this available at bottom of page) and send an email copy of this to the email on the top of the referral form.
