How to Access the Service

Access to the service is by medic referral only.
We provide a service to all children that are:

1. Registered with a GP in Wirral
2. Have had a Movement ABC-2 checklist (completed by school nurse/ teacher) and child must score in the red or amber zone.
3. Referred by a Paediatrician/ GP which indicates that they will provide a post assessment diagnosis for the child and have completed a neurological screen to rule out any other neurological condition.
4. Referred via a Paediatrician as the child or young person is having difficulties regulating their sensory system.

We expect to see children within 18 weeks for an initial assessment.

If required plans for follow up Occupational Therapy intervention will be discussed and agreed with you.
