Lower Limb

The Lower Limb service treats patients with hip and knee related concerns.

Our team consists of:

• 8 consultant surgeons
• 1 clinical fellow
• 4 advanced nurse practitioners

A few of the surgical service we provide are:

• Primary hip and knee replacement surgery
• Arthroscopic surgery
• Revision surgery for hip and knee replacements
• Treatment for soft tissue injuries

Patients requiring joint replacements or revisions must attend our Joint School prior to admission for surgery. This is a joint service with our preoperative assessment, physiotherapy and occupational therapy departments to prepare patients for their surgery and what to expect after the operation.
