WUTH Board Member Lesley Davies OBE awarded a CBE

Wirral University Teaching Trust (WUTH) in the King’s New Year’s Honours List

Lesley Davies OBE, a non-executive director and member of the WUTH Board, has been made a Commander of the British Empire (CBE) in this year’s New Year’s Honours List.  Lesley joined WUTH in early 2022 after a career in Further Education.  The CBE has been awarded for her contribution to Further Education.

Commenting on her CBE, Lesley said: "I am absolutely delighted to receive this honour.  It has been a privilege to have worked with so many amazing staff  from across the Further Education sector, who make a difference to the students, and the communities they serve, every day- and I thank them for their dedication and support"
