Wirral University Teaching Hospital Trust staff mourn Her Majesty The Queen

We join the nation and the NHS in mourning the passing of Her Majesty The Queen and share the deep sorrow felt by us all.

Earlier this year, we marked the 40th anniversary of the Queen opening Arrowe Park Hospital, with HRH Prince Phillip, in 1982. Her Majesty sent her warmest wishes to our staff on that occasion and it was a gesture that was greatly appreciated by all those involved.

We are sure that our staff and patients will join us in sending our deepest condolences to the Royal Family at this sad time.

Books of condolence are being placed in our hospital chapels at Arrowe Park Hospital and Clatterbridge Hospital for staff and patients to pay their respects and to give thanks for the Queen’s remarkable life and service to our nations and The Commonwealth. There is also a national book of condolence on the The Royal Family website.
