UpToDate Service ending

The Trust has access to a number of virtual clinical decision-making tools and after an extensive review, access to the UpToDate tool will be withdrawn from the 31st March. Subscription costs have increased exponentially year on year for this tool and a cost/benefit analysis has not demonstrated that the tool is delivering value for money. 

NHS England nationally procured BMJ Best Practice as an alternative tool in 2018, and this is available to all NHS organisations. The Library and Knowledge Service have produced a web page with help videos, guides, frequently asked questions and clinical scenarios using BMJBP. It can be found via the following link:

Users have until 23:59 on Tuesday 31st March to claim their CPD/CME points and download certificates.
