Emergency Department entrance will move on Tuesday 8th July

A new temporary entrance will open for patients walking into the Emergency Department and Urgent Treatment Centre at Arrowe Park Hospital from Tuesday 8th July.

The entrance will be at the top left of the site behind the eye clinic. Please follow the signs. 

It is in place while the new urgent and emergency care facility is being developed.

Drivers attending the Emergency Department are advised to park in Car Park A, opposite the eye clinic. 

Please only attend the Emergency Department if you have an emergency.

The Urgent Treatment Centre should be used for other minor illnesses and injuries including fever and general infections, earache or sinus pain, vomiting and diarrhoea, mild abdominal pain or stomach ache, skin rashes or infections emergency contraception and advice, minor burns and scalds, cuts, grazes and minor wounds, sprains and strains and back, neck or joint pain.
