We have an Infant Feeding Team of support workers based on our Maternity Ward who can support you during your stay in hospital alongside our Midwives and Maternity Support Workers. Our Community Midwives and Maternity Support Workers are available every day to support you and your baby at home.
If you need further support, we have an Infant Feeding Clinic where you can be seen with your baby by our specialist Midwife - you can ask your midwife to refer you to this clinic.
You can always call our Maternity Ward on 0151 604 7131 for 24 hour telephone feeding support.
Additional support in the community can be found from Koala North West breastfeeding peer support (volunteers who are experienced in breastfeeding support). Breastfeeding Support - Koala North West - there for you. They can offer home visits as well as drop in groups across the Wirral.
