WUTH Estates, Facilities, and Capital team shortlisted for an award

The Estates, Facilities, and Capital team at Wirral University Teaching Hospital (WUTH) have shortlisted for two award nominations at the Healthcare Estates IHEEM Awards 2022.
WUTH is being recognised for its investment in its infrastructure to support staff health and wellbeing coupled with the recognition of the work and improvements made across Estates and Facilities.
Two successful schemes such as the staff restaurant upgrade and creation of a wellbeing space for all Trust and partner organisations, is part of the great work being showcased as part of the awards.
The team have also invested in other facilities and a Support Service staff hub, another example of how the Trust has responded to the health and wellbeing needs of staff.
The WUTH Estates, facilities and Capital Team have been shortlisted for the following award categories:
· Staff well being initiative of the year
· Estates and Facilities Team of the Year
Additionally, our Facilities Team are being recognised for its approach to supporting staff post COVID pandemic through Innovative ways that embraced our business values, generated teamwork contributing to improvements in overall staff attendances that reduced costs, and importantly enabled patients with inventive solutions.
