We will soon be holding elections in the following constituencies:
- Bebington and Clatterbridge
- Bidston and Claughton
- North West and North Wales
- Greasby, Frankby, Irby, Upton and Woodchurch
- Heswall, Pensby and Thingwall
- Leasowe, Moreton and Saughall Massie
- Liscard and Seacombe
- Oxton and Prenton
If you are a Public Member aged 16 years or above, you may wish to stand for election.
Any member from the age of 11 years is entitled to vote for a candidate within their constituency.
Public members are represented by our elected Public Governors. Any public member may stand for
election as a Public Governor within their constituency, providing they are aged 16 or above.
If elected by their constituency members, they will represent the interests of both public members and the wider public by helping to shape hospital services. Public Governors also hold the Non-Executive Directors of the Board to account.
Even if you do not wish to stand you can still vote for one of the candidates in your constituency.
Voting papers will be issued by Electoral Reform Services (ERS) on Thursday, 9th August and all
votes must be received by Thursday, 30th August.

Staff Election for Registered Nurses and Registered Midwives
A staff election is also taking place for Registered Nurses and Registered Midwives.
The dates for this are the same as the public elections. All nurses and midwives will receive an email to their NHS account and it will have information about self nomination and details about the voting process.
