Your first appointment with a Midwife will be around 8 weeks and your first scan will be around 12 weeks. This is so we can see how your baby is progressing and to accurately date your pregnancy.
We’ll discuss with you how and where you may want to give birth. We offer four different choices of birth place – Home, Community Seacombe Birth Centre, Alongside Midwifery Led Unit (MLU) and Obstetric Unit You will have a named midwife who will be your main contact from the very first time you book in up until 28 days after you give birth. We will be with you every step of the way to ensure that you are fully supported and that your needs are met.
