Who we are

The Chaplaincy Team are:

The chaplaincy team is also assisted by a team of volunteers who visit patients in the wards offering a listening ear and comfort.  If you wish they can pray with you or give you/ arrange for you to have communion.  They will also be able to let the chaplains know if you have other religious or spiritual needs you would like us to assist you with or if you would like a visit from a chaplain.

We cover spiritual needs and religious ones too and have quiet spaces throughout the hospitals which can be used by all.  We are here to help those of all faiths or none.  We understand that your beliefs are individual to you and will try to assist you in any way we can.  


How do I become a Chaplaincy Volunteer?

Most volunteers offer three hours of their time during the morning in order to visit patients.
