The department received the accolade at the Healthcare People Management (HPMA) Awards, which have been running for 26 years to celebrate excellence in HR management. The team, which is based across Arrowe Park Hospital and Clatterbridge Hospital sites, won the prestigious title of ‘HR Team of the Year’, having stood out amongst stiff competition from other organisations from across the UK.
Announcing their win, judges highlighted the Hospital Trust’s department as an “an excellent example of the best in the profession”, describing the team asboth “passionate and impactful".

“As a Trust, we recognise the strong link between having an engaged workforce and delivering quality and patient outcomes, which is key to our success.
